We've updated the site with a few bug fixes as well as some improvements. We plan to release a series of updates in the next few weeks enhancing usability and getting the site ready for new visitors.

When we updated the site about a month ago, we added anonymous comments - but within 9 hours got totally bombarded with spam. We have been working on a solution and think we have a good solution now.

We are still working out kinks in this new update and smoothing everything out. We just updated with a few fixes:

-There were some old posts that weren't converted to the new syntax for linking etc, so they looked pretty funny. Everything should be converted now.

-The form for posting videos was a bit messed up, and videos weren't always showing up the front page. should all be lovely now!

Hey Everyone,

We just updated the site with a bunch of bug fixes as well as some changes to the front page and the explorer. There is now a Global View and Local View tab on the Front Page and on the Explorer. When you are in Local View, you choose a place and a radius and the page is built based on that. When you are in Global View, there is no location restriction, and all content is shown. This is equivalent to the 'Earth' view in the old version of the site.

We have a bit of a site update that we just posted. We fixed a lot of layout issues with internet explorer that were plaguing the new pages as well as fixed a lot of bugs that people were hitting with some of the new functionality.

Hey Everyone, It has been way too long since we have updated the site in a big way, so to make up for lost time, we are unveiling our biggest update yet. This update coincides with our awesome Mercury Cover that you Portlanders will be seeing starting today (thursday the 31st). We're thinking of making it hyperlocalized to each person so that if information looks relevant or interesting to a person, then we'll display it it there for visibility. Couple mini updates, one of which is a long time number one requested feature:

-It should be MUCH EASIER to pic which photo is the 'main photo' for a post now. Any post that you have the ability to edit (so: articles you published, any event, any location) you can now choose the best pic and that will be the main pic.
